Good morning and thank you Andrew! There seems to be no bottom for the Republican Party to start pushing back on the Trump administration ! The attack on Zelensky yesterday was a house on fire moment and it’s crickets from them! Instead they want Zelenskyy to apologize! They are siding with Russia and are truly lost! 😞
This is it exactly. It’s the republican party who has failed this nation more than the democrats ever have. Everyone blames the democrats for the sh@@t show currently happening but it’s the republicans who enabled the rapey felon from his first term onward, it’s the republicans who are gaslighting and delusional supporting the rapey felon. The republicans are wholly into an administration of sexual assaulters, tax fraudsters, insurrectionists, anti-American policies that will harm forever their own voters. I can only hope that the cult slowly realizes they have been had big time.
You are absolutely correct. The legal profession needs to stand up and make it clear to the American people that this type of behavior is not consistent with our values and violates many of our principles that the democracy is founded upon. Just as the medical profession needs to rise up with a louder and more unified voice about the damage being done to our healthcare system, and to public health, with some of the dangerous actions taken by the administration over the past six weeks. And finally, the Republican senators who are so gutless and cowed by Trump need to realize that if they all start speaking up, the dominoes will fall. We need some heroes. Whatever is motivating their cowardice must be put aside, and they need to live up to their oaths.
Andrew - Your calm demeanor is exactly what I needed this morning after that debacle in the oval office yesterday. I appreciate your comments on that, but also your insight into what happened with Covington and Burling. I certainly read about it and thought that it proved that nothing was too petty for Trump to meddle in as long as it was revenge-based. But your comparing it to the Adams case truly brought home how serious this is. Thank you for that and for all you do to help us focus on what is transpiring. Also, please note there is a new Project 2025 tracker put together by three folks on Reddit. It’s more proof that regulsr people are starting to react in good ways.
I am an Americain and proud of it. I am ashamed of our current president who did not receive the majority of votes in the Nov 2024 election. (He did get more votes than Kamala.) He does not represent the views & values of the majority of Americans. He is a criminal and a disgrace who cares nothing about anyone except himself.
Good Sunday morning, Andrew. Yours was the first thing I read at the beginning of the day. I watched the whole fiasco yesterday in the Oval Office and could not believe that a President and Vice President represented America in such an embarrassing way. Just totally disgusting! President Zelenskyy responded in a mature and thoughtful way, as much as the two of them would allow, and then they sent him on his way. America’s position on the world stage suffered a tremendous setback yesterday for which Trump and Vance are responsible. I agree with you entirely on the terrible injustice being delivered to the law firm that has represented Jack Smith. Surely Vance knows this, since he supposedly graduated from one of the best law schools. Maybe he was a DEI admission and was “socially promoted” by getting a degree?
Thank you Andrew. Enlightening article depicting just how low this administration (tRump) will go to settle his grievances. He should be put on a fast track to impeachment after today. Along with the VP, Muskrat and the rest of his unqualified Cabinet.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
And how about the reporter…..MTG’s boyfriend…who asked Zelendky why he didn’t wear a suit or if he owns one?? This right after the way Muskrat showed up at the cabinet meeting!!!. He could show up in his underwear somewhere and that reporter wouldn’t say a word! But what would we expect from someone hooked up with Marjorie! It would be nice if in my lifetime,I’d get to see us clean house with all these nut jobs.
For those people who want to help and donate to Ukraine here is a website to do so: https://u24.gov.ua/ It is called Unkraine24 and started by President Zelensky. It is my way to supporting Ukraine and telling Impotus and his VP that Americans support their war against Russia.
First (trump) came for Burlington, then he came for . . . Folks, who is next? The simplicity for defeating trump is mind- bogglingly simple: come together as a universalONE and act with all the grace that is morally and ethically proper. Remember: Senator McCarthy, have you no shame?
Thank you Andrew for an enlightening educational session! And you’re so on point to encourage everyone to do what they can contribute to our greater cause to fight and keep our democracy. I discovered that the AFL-CIO has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration which the judge has ordered depositions. I’m so proud to be a member of this union! Yesterday, my union reached out for support. So in addition to my union dues, I’m going to start a monthly contribution to my union which is a local association of the AFL-CIO. I have already started my economic boycott from last month and have re-prioritized my spending so I can contribute to you, MTN, Brian Tyler Cohen, and Democracy Docket. With deepest gratitude, thank you for all you do Andrew! Mahalo from Hawaii 🙏
Dear Andrew. Wonderful words of wisdom. About 40 years ago I attended an executive meeting with members of our corporation. One of our senior executives raised the question of why it is attractive to open businesses in the United States by international organizations and why do so many people from other companies prefer to work in the United States. He answered his own question with essentially your words. In the United States, we have respect for the rule of law, we enjoy a stable political climate, and we do not concern ourselves with coups, revolutions, or government overthrows. I fear this environment has changed as we move into the 2nd Trump administration, a proponent of gangster capitalism which thrives on extortion. That is the descriptive dilemma as we struggle with the prescriptive.
It has become abundantly clear yesterday that Trump is a traitor to The United States. Trump is a Russian agent. The king has no clothes on, his allegiance is to Putin’s Russia is in full view. He has spurned America completely. I am sorry for the voters who thought Trump was on their side. Huge mistake. Trump is stripping the treasury for a massive tax break for the super-rich which includes Trump.
You, the citizens will be less protected by each natural disaster. You’re on your own. All our protections, which help make America the beacon to the world is being stripped away. I have seen the lunacy of comments telling Musk to keep going. You have no idea what you are asking for. For the most part, the working person who has a salary or hourly wage is so screwed. No medical care. Much higher food prices with general products with the so-called tariffs go into effect. No safety nets for many needed services. You’re now on an island. Good luck!
The amount of waste and fraud is far less than you think in government. If you want to look at one of the largest receivers of government contracts it’s your pal, Musk. Musk just screwed Verizon out of a contract for FAA communication system worth $2.4 billion dollars, which Verizon was favored for this contract. Nothing like being inside!

Ashamed to call myself an American.

Our heads are spinning. Thank you for saying Zelenskyy and Fauci have been our heroes— I totally 👍

Thanks for the transcript. I don’t have time enough for videos but want to know what you are saying.
It's really nice & thoughtful that he provides transcript and video. I listen while I do other things.

Thank you, Andrew, for helping to navigate the madness.
Will you comment on Bill Bay’s statement on behalf of the American Bar Association (https://www.americanbar.org/news/abanews/aba-news-archives/2025/02/aba-supports-the-rule-of-law/) on the importance of the legal profession standing up for the rule of law, explicitly and perhaps in uncomfortable ways?
Seems almost comical that the leader of the ABA needs to articulate that it supports the rule of law, but this is where we find ourselves.
Do you think his words will cause any on the right — lawyers, politicians, lay people — to stop and reflect? Change course?
Excellent points! 47 is a disgrace to America.
Thanks too for the video or transcript options. I just found this and subscribed.
