Thank you for all you do and helping making sure the public knows and understands what’s going on behind the scenes. I know you’re very smart and excellent in your field and thank you!

My best friend’s husband had his degree from Harvard and a degree from Purdue. He was a MENSA as well. Unfortunately, lost his life too young. But I want to say that he was a son of Italian immigrants. He was a genius at what he did and he was a senior engineer at Toyota. One thing he did was to go in and look at the factories or the plants that were working for Toyota and he would do whatever he could to re-organize the entire factory to be efficient in order to save american jobs from going to Mexico. In all truth, he saved thousands of employees throughout his many years at Toyota.

I miss him every day. His expertise changed lives by saving them from being lost to foreign countries.

I just saw on the news that The University of Hong Kong is prepared to welcome Harvard students to their community and “offering them the resources and vibrant environment needed to thrive in their fields.”

What this administration is doing by chipping away at our educational institutions and culture is despicable.

I said it before but here I will say it again. Harvard should revoke all White House employees and elected officials as well as all Congressional Republicans who have degrees from Harvard which would eliminate all law degrees too.

I worked in an academic library for 28 years. The library was an important place/space for the international students because they valued studying more than American students, especially the graduate students. There were many occasions for me to interact with them. I learned so much from these students from faraway places. They are brave, courageous, bright and intelligent people. I really hope Harvard sues the Trump administration to put a stop to this abusive order.

I do, too! Immediately...explicitly...and no holds barred. This edict is abusive, dishonest, and completely inappropriate. It makes me want to weep - with anger as well as profound sadness.

Maybe trump is following what the nazis did when they invaded Poland and killed the intelligentsia and professors who posed a threat to hitler's occupation- he's ignorant of history but his project 25 henchmen are not.

As usual the Trump folks stay up all night thinking and trying to implement the most bonkers ideas to work on! They have no real agenda or purpose! I feel like I’m living in the twilight zone! Thanks for the update Andrew!

I notice that there is a section of the Big Bad Boll that says that members of the Administration are not subject to judicial contempt citations unless a bond is required. Can you address this at some point?

This provision that was hidden in the overall Bill before Congress is frightening to me. It seems to spell the end of our Constitutional system. It must be defeated!!

This anti-semitism is total bullshit. I grew up in the US. I went to Harvard Business School. That was where I first became aware of jews in any meaningful way. It was the first time I visited Israel was with the Israeli student club. I became obsessed with the history of jews, Israel and anti-semitism. I lived through the Oslo accords and met Shimon Peres and experienced the optimism of a two state solution in the Middle East. My optimism in 1995 was glorious.

None of this is inconsistent with supporting Palestinians in Gaza. It is completely possible to be amazed at what Jews have built in Israel and horrified with what Bibi is doing in Gaza, just as it is to admire the US but be horrified by Trump. Admittedly it has been a long time since I have studied at Harvard but I go every 5 years for my reunion and never clocked rampant anti-semitism. This is just a cloak to disguise an attempt by this regime to dismantle all world class institutions in the US to consolidate power. Once again Jews are just pawns to support an autocrat grabbing power. I fear as much for my Jewish friends and colleagues as I do for the rest of us fighting this fascist government.
