Thank you Andrew and Mary for the many comprehensive legal analyses. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hortman children and families during this tragic time.

Thoughts and prayers, too, to the remaining 3 families that Boelter shot, or showed up to execute in the short 90 minute spree.* It seems to me they should be encouraged to stay in their important roles, if they have the courage to do so.

Even the "No Kings" rally planners/participants in Minnesota, Gov. Walz, AG Keith Ellison, and lawmakers in Wisconsin were included in the hit list. I'm just suggesting that maybe the others are also deserving of thoughts and prayers of support -- and encouragement that they are doing the right thing.

As a Society, if we don't acknowledge that the others are also greatly needed and appreciated, and if we ignore they were as much of targets, too, then Trump's militarized Int'l. Mob has already won, right? I see supporting all Boelter's targets, who are standing up for our Democracy, as deserving of support, and appreciation.

Question: why wasn’t Noem’s admission of the purpose of the White House usurpation of California’s to “liberate” people from their lawfully elected officials (“socialists”) used in the plaintiffs’ argument to the 9th District panel on Tuesday? Apropos or not?

The argument before Breyer seemed more on point, but then Judge Breyer led the discussion’s flow and logic.

Yes. Why did they not argue with more powerful talking points? I heard some of it and felt it was lame.

I listened to the podcast, but I’m concerned after yesterday’s appellant court procrdure where it appears that they’re going to side with Trump. I don’t understand how the judicial branch keeps giving him the benefit of doubt, in believing that his actions are benevolent instead of malevolent. I fear that we keep walking down the road to authoritarianism by judges who just will always defer to the presidential office, regardless of who its tenant is.

Andrew I’ll give you a case that I’m curious about. Approximately 30 years ago a group of teenagers were at a parade and error were scene holding up a banner with the title “Bong hits for Jesus” . I believe they were intoxicated at the time. We’re those individuals ethically displaying freedom of speech or did something else occur
