Thanks so much for the live discussion. Weekly chats would be phenomenal, but understandingly difficult with your busy schedules. Andrew, you talked about role models for our times, I’ve just watched two of them! Always grateful! 🙏

Thank you Andrew and Ryan… you help me understand what is happening within the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals is trying to do to manipulate our Rights within the Constitution of our Democracy. Yes an Astonishing moment of what the Solicitor General was desperately trying to do which is so desperately wrong… Not Following Orders and Rulings by SCOTUS, is unconstitutional is it Not?! Andrew thank you for describing what Kavenaugh says as appalling and contemptuous!

Alito is shameful and obviously wants to crucify his own colleagues and his disdain for the Judicial System.

Can these individuals who have been at CECOT without having an opportunity to fight for their rights now be Returned to the United States?

Yes, what is the end game Scenario?! When we Stand for Justice and Equality for all our Democracy is doing what it was set up to do when our Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution of this United States.🇺🇸

This has been a hugely enlightening discussion. I too was struck by Justice Alito's distain for the lower levels of the Judiciary in the arguments last week, which must be disheartening not only to litigants, but to his colleagues.

This fight over birthright citizenship makes me envision officials in states stopping people and randomly demanding "Papers, please. Show me your papers!" Then deciding on the spot, that you don't meet their individual standards and shipping you to God-knows-where.

These were not deportations. These were renditions. Outsourced depravity. Shameful!!

We all must come to the realization that our Congress must clearly spell out in our laws the specific authorities the Chief Executive has regarding E.O. specifically when the nation is not involved in any armed conflict anywhere. In my opinion, E.O. Should be limited to immediate health and danger to the American people. Any other Chief Executive actions must be made through the proper legislative process through the Congress.

If you commit a crime, do the time, and are then released on parole, you are then on probation which is supervised by a judge. The judge tells you "Do not commit any more crimes." That's doesn't mean no crimes in that judge's jurisdiction, it means no crimes anywhere. Period. That judge has in effect issued a nationwide injunction. That doesn't mean you can travel to another judge's jurisdiction, commit a crime there, and be exempt from the 'no crime' order the original judge gave you. That's what Trump is fighting for, though.. He justifies it by saying that he'd "have to have a million trials for thousands of people." as if that's impossible. Stephen Miller wants as many brown people out of the country as he can get before he's shut down. He's a White Nationalist and this Is his sick fantasy.

With so much lawlessness going on, it's hard to keep up. Thanks so much for breaking these lawsuits down. I have been watching in disbelief and fear for our southern neighbours. trump's last term was chaotic but this term is downright scary. I still can't understand how so many Americans could vote for such an vile man and lawless felon.
