Andrew, I’ve left a couple of comments on Joyce’s Substack, but have one more. I just saw a post by Timothy Snyder on BlueSky that said that Musk removed the funding for finding Ukrainian children who were kidnapped by Russian troops and sent to Russia for adoption by “wealthy” families. Yale was leading that effort and now they have no funding for it. I think it is pretty clear that Trump and Musk are working for Putin and this latest act seems to me that it qualified for treason. What can we do lawfully to get these traitors out of the WH? And it goes beyond Trump and Musk to his entire cabinet and the Republican Congress. It seems to me that urgent measures are needed here, as the courts may be too slow and can they enforce their rulings if Trump decides not to comply?

Good points.

Plus everything Trump has been doing since 1/20/2025 benefits Putin/Russia. Examples are:

1. Weakening the majority of everyday Americans in high costs and likely limited availability in food, housing, and cars to get to work.

a. Trump also made sure he gutted any oversight agency that historically has helped workers, consumers, banking customers, voters, healthcare, etc.

If Trump is truly an extension of Putin now, Putin could take over USA.

2. Weakening EU/NATO by Trump/Vance/Cabinet threats on NATO/EU, and serious intent to take over CAN, Greenland, Panama - by force if necessary. This also pits many soldiers against allies they may have worked with--now to be forced to fight against.

a. Brokering deal with China to buy 2 key ports in Panama (BlackRock deal) could also control/weaken EU, as JD Vance pointed out EU uses Canal 40% vs. US 3%. So, Trump's deal didn't even benefit USA, it appears to only be to control EU.

3. Weakening EU/NATO in Trump/Vance presenting an abrupt, hostile environment to EU that categorically forces our EU allies to plan for security without USA. This includes EU realizing they can no longer feasibly trust USA-manufactured Mil weapons, or planes, because EU now deems USA unstable under Trump, and Mil contracts would've required being able to trust equipment, parts & software updates. If Trump is engaging in War against Greenland, Canada, etc. (and also sabotaging Ukraine), EU cannot count on USA as an ally (under the Trump Admin.).

4. Ukraine. Sigh. Too much to mention that Trump is doing that plays right into Putin's hands.

My point is, there is very little that Trump has enacted that "isn't" directly benefitting Putin -- and almost nothing that benefits USA, or the majority of Americans.

We will have to go to the streets in mass. Check "Indivisible info for April 5th!" daisy (Brazilian), Las Vegas, NV

Yes. Make signs. I also noticed when news stations had live streams of the Tesla protests last Saturday, it generated a lot of local support/interest. I don't know if people have any way to ask for new media live streams, but just a suggestion.

Just as as a follow-up to Renee’s comment above: many of the Ukrainian children taken from their own families and moved to Russia will almost certainly have problems with PTSD and attachment problems. It takes too long to discuss this thoroughly here but it is tragic if funding has been cut to locate and return the children to their Ukrainian families. Courts seem to be doing all they can but it takes time and who will enforce court decisions? (sorry I cannot join online but will try to listen later)

It was also reported that so many (adults and children) in Russia's Genocide/War were tortured, raped, or were forced to watch torture, rape and execution of their loved ones, children and babies, or friends. That would also take a very different, specialized counselor for PTSD. Especially in a 3 year, drawn out Genocide.

Can citizens who are united in their efforts to have a government that abides by the rule of law file a class action lawsuit when their government acts illegally against its citizens and their elected representatives in Congress?

Thank you! It was fun and informative. You two are a large part of why I’m still sane in these perilous times. Woof!

Andrew I am going to continue asking my same question that I even wrote on a card to you at NY Historical. Why would we be paying the IRS when our $$’s will be going 1. Not to Dem states because tRump punishes us 2. Is sent to Republican States (who knows if that will even happen 3. Everything we believe in has been decimated? Couldn’t Dem states individually set up escrow accounts to hold our IRS payments? Would it be legal? And can the federal government break into our bank accounts or attach payments and take our $$’s?

If the legal community doesn't stand united in its adherence to the rule of law and the impartial administration of justice, what hope do we have of the law and the Constitution saving us from what is happening right now? Can you talk about why so many legal professionals are abandoning or openly disregarding these principles or did they never really have them to begin with?

Please come up with specific ideas lawyers can do to help the resistance. Don’t assume most are creative that way!

Hi Andrew, Thanks again, and looking forward to today at 5:00 for you and Joyce. —lhere is my question: Please read the article in the link— Is it possible that our fears that Trump will just pardon any of those who do receive a sentence, are not real— and as Jamie Raskin says, can those pardons be stopped? And we can hold Trump accountable? —

Read Jamie Raskin’s Letter to Trump Administration: "You are not Immune" Raskin also pointed out in the statement provided to PoliticusUSA that accompanies his letter that, “Moreover, Trump may be unable to pardon Elon Musk or other Administration officials or federal employees if they were found in contempt pursuant to the court’s inherent authority, because under the U.S. Constitution, such an offense may not qualify as an “offense against the United States.” Additionally, Trump’s pardon power does not apply to civil sanctions. While it is true that the Trump administration could decide to ignore the rulings of courts, the court system also has the ability to strike back and enforce their rulings.”
