We Are In A Different Place
The latest Main Justice episode explores why things are not the same this week in the United States
Mary and I explore on our latest episode of “Main Justice” (link below) numerous ways in which this week is different - starting with why the Department of Justice is out of control and untethered to law or basic decency.
We begin by discussing the latest cruelty displayed by the Trump administration to Mr. Abrego Garcia - threatening to deport him to Uganda if he does not plead guilty to federal criminal charges (that two federal judges deemed insufficient to require his pretrial detention).
We also explore the Bolton search, the Maxwell two-day “interview” by Todd Blanche, and Bondi’s letters to numerous states and cities threatening action if they don’t tow the Trump administration immigration line. All displays of actions unmoored to good policy, sound prosecutorial decision-making, or the current law (or a combination of all three).
We end with a discussion of the latest Trump executive order, entitled misleadingly about D.C., but in reality calling on — explicitly — the creation of a military force for nationwide use. That’s right, nationwide.
If that is not a wake up call, nothing is.
Stay engaged.
Andrew

Thank you for the updates and willingness to keep us engaged! Unbelievable that it’s the US government you are discussing. The lawlessness and cruelty is astounding!
Donny is demented and all his minions gladly sing his praises.
