He met with us, the Tucson mass shooting survivors, 3 times, here in Tucson. He apologized for the fact that it had happened on his watch. Taking responsibility for the actions of a mad man.... I can't imagine anyone in this administration taking responsibly for anything. He was kind, thoughtful, and smart. I envy you for the time you spent with him. May his memory be a blessing.... it is for me.
