Got it yesterday! Can’t wait to dig in. When Nicolle Wallace praises it / it’s a must have. And she actually reads the books before she has people on. Of course the two of you admire each other immensely- that’s obvious.
I'm an 82 year old US Army Officer's "brat" and US Navy Vet (early Vietnam - with a statement and a question for you -- as I also watched you on that particular show also with Nicole Wallace concerning your new book.
My statement to you -- is that all of what "the rest of us" didn't vote for, i.e., the corrupt Supreme Court 6 / Trump and his Government as repeatedly voted for by the Republican Party voter - constantly damaging the US Constitution:
--- can be legally stopped within 24 hours; by a portion of the American population being reminded of their Oath of Allegiance that they swore to when they received their Commission as Officers in the US Armed Forces.
Their individual Oath was not sworn to any President, any Appointee, or any Government Official:
--- it was written and sworn solely to protect and defend the US Constitution - alone - full stop.
Furthermore, and much more important: - they swore "...to fight all enemies, foreign or domestic...".
They have been hiding behind a baseless "tradition" they themselves cooked up decades ago or "...having to obey all orders from the White House... ...because whoever is in the White House - is their boss...".
How do I know - I fought time and time again with my father over their Oath being followed - after I found out what his Oath actually stated.
Sir -- there is no Civil Law or UCMJ based rule or regulation stating, supporting, or inferring any such position.
They just "...made it up...".
There is however; legal positions in place, in the area of Law concerning "what to do" if the President turns himself into a Dictator and every other remedy fails:
--- which has been the case during both of his Presidencies - stating that:
--- the US Military is to remove the President - by what ever means required (my addition).
This should also extend to everyone and everyone involved in setting up and working to perpetuate this unlawful Dictatorship.
The situation the US Military Leadership has on it's hands is this:
--- they have never had to confront the situation where the US President / Government / and voters of that political party - by independent conscientious decision; has turned themselves into believing the following seven ideologies:
1.) "Totalitarianism" -- where The Party controls The Government and punishes it's political enemies while stopping all descent;
2.) "Dictatorship" -- where The Leader controls virtually everything;
3.) "Limiting Personal Freedom" - where The Court and The Government take away personal freedoms without cause or recourse;
4.) "Xenophobia" -- perpetuating the White / Nordic Race Heritage - while eliminating all others as "inferior";
5.) "Nationalism" -- "...rebuilding the Country because it has been persecuted against by all other nations....";
6.) "Loyalty" -- where each Party Member swears total loyalty to The Leader as The Party Leader --- and then to the Country - and;
7.) "Sovereign Economy" -- where The Government uses everything for it's "war needs", economically and "otherwise".
Only one of the two US Political Parties holds to these seven ideologies as it's belief base - and it isn't the Democratic Party or all of the Independent voters such as myself.
These seven ideologies were the "chapter and verse" beliefs of The Modern Conservative" / former political party:
--- The Third Reich Nazi Party under Der Fuhrer (Their Leader) Adolph Hitler.
--- which your family had to dal with.
You know how I know about what really happened in Germany -- because while my family lived in Germany (about three years), we had a young German girl as our maid, who made it through through WW II, while her parents and family did not.
Because of the experience of playing with kids who had Nazi parents - and who were truly "different" from those that weren't Nazis - over the decades she and my family stayed close - as she married a GI and moved to the US.
Because she made it through WW II; in Germany; and because I asked her:
--- she explained to me that it was when the German High Command totally capitulated to Hitler's Nazi agenda - was when everything immediately turned to the worse - because "hope was lost".
The US Military Officer's Leadership, to a person, has turned itself from being an American when Commissioned - into a "Soldier" - that only talks "toy soldier talk" when asked about what is happening - as they have demonstrably and completely walked away from their Oath of Allegiance and personal honor:
--- by meekly following all of the blatantly illegal orders coming from Trump and his appointees.
By definition - Trump and the US Republican Party , by their actions during the present and past decade; - have independently and conscientiously turned themselves into following the seven Nazi ideologies listed above:
--- all which bring harm to the US Constitution, and:
--- it is to your last comments on Nicole's show that this situation confronts.
These people are no longer Americans as they are now, demonstrably, home-grown, self-made Nazi;
--- and they don't give a damn about your looking for the "better person within them" - by constantly turning the other cheek.
They view that as just another weakness to work on against you.
As for your beloved Legal system - there is an old saying that fits the present situation completely:
--- in order to "neutralize" a snake - the head of the snake needs to be permanently separated from it's body..." - because:
--- if you think that the Supreme Court 6, all politically seated over time by the Republican Party -- is going to allow anything other than what their "owners" want;
--- there's a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.
In simple terms -- you should take what Merritt Garland didn't do to heart - as he didn't act, and fiddled away the time where Trump was actually vulnerable to legal action against him.
It's time to get real and pull the curtains back - that the US Military Leadership has been hiding behind - and put the question to them as a group:
--- are they Americans - who will honor their Oath to protect the Constitution over following their illegal tradition - or will they proceed in mimicking the goose-stepping Third Reich High Command, as Trump and his now Trump Nazi Evangelical MAGA Party destroy more and more of the 250 years of progress as a Republic this Country has achieved in, and for; the World.
It's your call Sir: -- because you are in the unique position of finding out where the US Military stands as to following illegal orders -- for "all of the rest of us" that didn't vote for any of this- as you ae in a position to walk up to each and every one of them: --- and ask them face to face - for all of the rest of us that can't do that.
I hope you do it - for the future:
--- because wishing for a better tomorrow and $6.50 will buy you a cup of Starbuck's.

Andrew, I've realized late in my life that I should have gone to law school because I've realized that I have an aptitude for it. I'm terrible at math and superior in the use of language, which I now understand is what the law is about. I consider your program with Mary McCord to be the law school education I can get now. You never go too deep in the weeds for me!
