Trump has always been a vicious racist. Go review his comments about The Central Park 5 case in NY. So, people voted for this pig and elevated him, revealing their support of systemic racism in this country. We have a deeply embedded problem since our conception, and it is stronger now in 2026 under Trump’s maniacal leadership.

And when you confront them with this fact Trumpers will deny it. And unfortunately so will some Democrats.

Unfortunately, this is where we are right now. I’m hoping there is something legal and nonviolent to effectively change the course. I’m not informed enough, but certainly others who know the law can help us understand next steps. There have to be next steps.

I was going to write about the particular issue as well. EVEN AFTER the confession of the actual perpetrator, the apology made by the victim, clear evidence that this was a profoundly racist conviction. Even after all the evidence was in, Trump continued to maintain that they were guilty and called for their execution.

I just don’t understand that such unrequited evil is so deep in the souls and mouths of people in a democracy. It is a foundational moral earthquake that erupts daily in every seam of our tapestry call democracy.

Even worse, we’re living at the mercy of a profoundly complex and debilitating disorder that is running the guy in the Oval Office and being criminally hidden and enabled by those exploiting it.

Absolutely. It’s the rot that’s been growing in our walls and cracking the foundation for decades and which the American people have chosen not to see, instead believing the myth of everlasting “American exceptionalism”.

What’s extraordinary to me is that we’re not all out on the streets about the systematic tearing down of any moral, legal foundations of this nation. Not to mention the extraordinary theft of out tax dollars for. Not only nonsense like this ballroom but now the painting of the exterior of the entire Eisenhower building and the corruption and profiteering. While people have lost healthcare, jobs, and the capacity to pay for both food and medicine. I harken back in this decision to Ava DuVernay’s superb 13th amendment film.

We are living in tyranny. This is what the majority of those who voted chose.

Andrews point is The Point. The Congress and an entire country wanted the Articles that have been added to the constitution. In no way should 6 judges remove these protections.

Doesn’t it all go back to Trump, though? It’s his base that demanded a stop to abortion and women’s choice. Is it not Trump’s base that demands a white nationalist country and government? When a significant number of voters decide to not vote in any election, but especially a Presidential election, then the name MAJORITY takes on a new definition, doesn’t it? The majority of American voters elected a racist, convicted felon and sexual abuser as their choice for President. Now, if those folks..millions…who stayed home in defiance or apathy or distrust…had voted for Harris, this lawless regime would not be in power. But the reality is those millions did not vote, and so we have a malignant narcissistic sociopath in the Oval Office, given immunity by a corrupt Supreme Court. As I stated at the start, the majority of voters in 2024 elected this current criminal and that’s the reality of how we got here. You can’t play games with the math. Let’s see who shows up in the midterms with Trump’s newly formed Integrity Military that will be posted at our voting stations. It’s illegal. But do you think Trump gives a damn, or the Supreme Court will check him, or the DOJ has the stones to say No, Hell No? If Trump successfully sows fear in our voters on Nov 3, 2026, this nation will be decimated to its remaining bones.

I struggle to remain engaged with each new blow to the structures and processes of our constitutional democracy. But the two of you, especially and invariably, rejuvenate my hopefulness, even when the news is bad. So much gratitude to you both, who are always models of clarity, coherence, and well-regulated passion..

I'm wondering why these racially/politically drawn districts can't be argued as violating federal equal protection statutes and state equal protection statutes.

Re: Fulton Co.--it's incredible that jurists in today's Mad Hatter environment would still apply standards which accept pleadings as facially true in the face of overwhelming actual evidence of lack of credibility from multiple tribunals. Heavy chemical intervention must be necessary for some of these bozos, I mean judges and justices, to sleep at night.

The two of you are truly my two favorite gentlemen. Thank you for all that you do! 💙💙

Thank you for this terrific conversation.

So how can we accomplish that Andrew?

One way to deal with these the proven liars running for office is to prohibit them from taking the oath office with corrupt intent, They should be either prohibited by statute or by injunctions filed against them. I think if they knew this could happen to them, more will be weeded out and won't run.

Excellent discussion! Thank you both. Looking forward to Liar’s Kingdom!!💙😊

The rush to redistrict is the clearest evidence yet of the Republicans’ racism, and has noted in the American Prospect, their anti-city agenda. Is there any hope that the American people will be so disgusted by these manipulations that they will punish the Republicans at the ballot box?

Were they not citing the Uniform Code of Military Discipline, and is that not a publicly available document - not classified in any way? If so there's no good argument that their public disclosure of it harms military morale or discipline `quite the contrary.

I've preordered the book and am very much looking forward to reading it! I hope, as a country, we can re-invest our legal system and our structure of government with honor, with real respect, and with appreciation for the historical precedent embedded in all of it. Dishonesty is so corrosive! I hope renewal lies in the near future.

Good job showing book title. Already ordered ~ can’t wait.

I would just like to know how much longer elected politicians who have sworn to protect, defend, and uphold the Constitution of the United States are going to

continue turning a blind eye to the blatant corruption of this Administration.
